Just in time, I´ve finished these stripey socks for my sister-in-law Evi for Christmas. The wool is Heirloom sock wool, which my mum sent me from Australia. The pattern is the basic sock pattern from Wendy Knits Socks from the Toe Up.
Hi! Thanks for leaving your comment about the V&A dress on my blog. I'm sorry I don't have an easy answer for you on the amount of ease I used in the bodice. By the time I got done with the changes to the second muslin I had stopped using any measurements. (I'm more of a trial-and-error fitter.) I would say that the bodice doesn't have much ease built in and that it expects good upright posture. I recall adding a little extra ease at the center back to make slouching and/or driving more comfortable. Good luck! I'd love to see your dress!
